Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil

Sauce

  • ½ cup coconut aminos (can sub soy sauce if not Whole30)
  • ½ tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened BBQ sauce (I use The New Primal)
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Thickening Paste

  • 1 tbsp tapioca starch
  • 2 tbsp broth or water

Garnishes (Optional)

  • green onions
  • lime wedge
  • sesame seeds
  • red pepper flakes
  • cilantro

Instructions
 

  • Cube and cook your chicken in avocado oil in a skillet on the stove over medium heat. Salt and pepper the chicken if you'd like.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, add in all of the sauce ingredients and let simmer for a few minutes.
  • Once simmering, mix together the water or broth and tapioca starch to make a paste, then pour the paste into the skillet, mixing immediately. This will thicken your sauce!
  • Enjoy with rice or cauliflower rice, steamed veggies and garnishes of your choice!
