Combine cashews and water in a bowl and allow to sit for 30 minutes or overnight. If you have a high powered blender, you may not need to let them soak for long and can even skip the soaking step.
Combine all of the sauce ingredients, including the cashews and water, into a blender or food processor.
Blend until completely smooth.
Smooth the sauce over the crust of your choice and top your pizza with your favorite toppings.
Cook your pizza according to your crust instructions then enjoy! Aim not to cook the sauce for longer than 25 minutes if you can avoid it to ensure it doesn’t over cook.
