Ingredients
Meatloaf
1 ½
lbs
ground beef
6
slices
gluten free bread
(can sub ¾ cup bread crumbs or gluten free oats)
1
egg, beaten
¼
onion, grated or diced
1
tsp
garlic powder
1
tsp
salt
¼
tsp
pepper
¼
cup
(bone) broth, of choice
(I use Bonafide Provisions chicken bone broth)
Toppings (optional)
ketchup, to top
I use no added sugar ketchup from Primal Kitchen)
fresh thyme or oregano
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Place bread in a bowl and pour broth over the top. Use your hands to break up the bread into small pieces.
Next, combine all ingredients aside from the ground meat and mix to combine.
Gently mix in the ground meat until combined, then place into a loaf pan.
Cook the meatloaf for 1 hour.
Top with ketchup if you'd like, then slice and serve with sides of your choice.
