Pan Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp shallot, diced
  • ½ tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 2 springs fresh thyme
  • 1 bunch fresh sage
  • ½ cup broth
  • ½ tsp arrowroot (optional, if you'd like to thicken the sauce)

Instructions
 

  • After cooking your steak, keep the pan on medium heat and all in the garlic and shallot, sautéing until fragrant.
  • Next, add in the dijon, cream/coconut milk, coconut aminos/soy sauce, thyme, sage and broth/water.
  • Stir the sauce and allow to simmer and thicken. Before serving, remove the herbs.
  • If you'd like to have the sauce thicker, add in arrowroot and stir until completely combined.
  • Serve warm overtop of the steak!
