Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp shallot, diced
  • ½ tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
  • 2 springs fresh thyme
  • 1 bunch fresh sage
  • ½ cup broth
  • ½ tsp arrowroot (optional, if you'd like to thicken the sauce)

Method
 

  1. After cooking your steak, keep the pan on medium heat and all in the garlic and shallot, sautéing until fragrant.
  2. Next, add in the dijon, cream/coconut milk, coconut aminos/soy sauce, thyme, sage and broth/water.
  3. Stir the sauce and allow to simmer and thicken. Before serving, remove the herbs.
  4. If you'd like to have the sauce thicker, add in arrowroot and stir until completely combined.
  5. Serve warm overtop of the steak!
