3cupsapple slices(you can peel them if you'd like, but I like to leave the skin on!)
2tbspcoconut sugar
½tbsplemon juice
1tbsptapioca starch or arrowroot
½tspcinnamon
¼tspsalt
Crumble Topping
½cupalmond flour
2tbspcassava flour
¼cupcoconut sugar
2tbspmaple syrup
½tspbaking powder
¼tspcinnamon
2tbspbutter or ghee, melted(can use dairy free as needed)
¼tspsalt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375℉
Slice 3 cups worth of apples (I typically use gala, but your favorite variety will work).
Add the apple slices to a bowl then toss with the apple filling ingredients until the apple slices are evenly covered. Add the apples to a small baking dish.
Combine crumble ingredients and mix until clumps form.
Crumble the topping on top of the apple slices.
Bake the crumble for 30-40 minutes (depending on your oven, be sure to check on it!). It will be ready when the apples are sizzling and the top is golden brown.
Serve with ice cream and a caramel drizzle if you'd like. It's best served right out of the oven!
