Homemade Peanut Milk

Equipment

  • Nut Milk Bag or Mesh Strainer
  • High Powered Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups peanuts (unsalted is recommended)
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 pitted date (optional)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • In enough water to cover the peanuts, allow them to soak for 4 hours.
  • Drain and rinse the peanuts, then combine all ingredients to a high powdered blender.
  • Over a large bowl, pour the blender contents into a nut milk bag and squeeze all the milk out that you can.
  • Keep in the fridge in a sealed jar and enjoy within 4 days!
