Homemade 2 Ingredient Applesauce

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs apples, peeled and chopped (I use gala but you can use whatever you like!)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ¼-½ cup coconut sugar (optional, for extra sweetness if desired)

Instructions
 

  • Peel and chop your apples.
  • Place the apples in a slow cooker with water (and cinnamon and coconut sugar, if you're including them) and set the slow cooker for 4 hours.
  • While they bake, you can stir occasionally. As time goes on, they will turn soft and slowly turn into applesauce. PS - your kitchen will smell amazing!
  • Once completely soft, you can mash the remaining pieces or add the contents to a blender to reach the consistency you're looking for.
  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container. Enjoy!
