Healthy Birthday Cake Latte

Ingredients
  

Coffee

  • espresso or coffee (I use VitaCup Beauty Coffee grounds)

Birthday Cake Creamer

  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk (I use MALK Organic's)
  • 2 tbsp vanilla creamer (I use Nutpods)
  • 1 scoop/tbsp collagen or protein powder (I use Further Food Vanilla Collagen)
  • ½ tbsp cacao butter
  • ½ tsp honey or maple syrup OR 1 tsp monk fruit for sugar free (can add more if you want it sweeter)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • tsp almond extract

Toppings (Optional)

  • whipped cream (I use coconut or sugar free)
  • sprinkles (I opt for the most natural option available to me)

Instructions
 

  • Put all of the birthday cake creamer ingredients into a pot over medium/low heat on the stove for a few minutes. 
  • While this begins to heat, brew your coffee or espresso. You can also have this over ice if your birthday is in the warmer months, so feel free to swap for cold brew.
  • Once the cacao butter begins to melt, use a hand held frother to mix all of the ingredients together and to froth the creamer slightly.
  • Pour your coffee or espresso into your favorite mug and top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Happy Birthday!
