Ingredients
Method
Chocolate Syrup
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan or pot on the stove over medium/low heat.
- While whisking constantly, bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Once everything is fully combined, the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly, remove it from the heat and allow to cool.
- Store in a container with a lid in the fridge.
Strawberry Syrup
- Combine strawberries, water and sugar or monk fruit in a pot on the stove over medium heat.
- Bring to a slight simmer and keep an eye on the mixture, mixing lightly and pressing down on the strawberries as the sugar dissolves.
- Once the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture has thickened, your simple syrup is done!
- Strain the syrup into a resealable glass container leaving out the strawberries and let cool before using it for your drinks. Save the strawberries you strain out to use as jam!
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte
- Brew your espresso and allow to cool slightly.
- Fill your favorite glass with ice, then pour in your desired amount of strawberry syrup and chocolate syrup.
- Next, froth the milk using a milk frother on the cold setting. You can skip this step if you don't have one!
- Pour in the frothed milk, then top with espresso.
- Mix together, taste and adjust flavors as desired based on your preferences. Enjoy!
