Ingredients

pure maple syrup

coconut sugar

coconut cream
(only the solid part from a can of coconut cream or coconut milk, none of the coconut water)

arrowroot or tapioca starch
pinch salt, optional
Instructions
Mix together the tapioca or arrowroot and water until fully combined, then add all ingredients in a pot on the stove over medium heat.
While stirring constantly, watch for the mixture to thicken. Don’t allow to come to a rolling boil!
Once thickened slightly, remove the pot from the heat and allow to cool.
Store in a jar with a lid and keep in the fridge!
