This fresh and light Whole30 & Dairy Free Tzatziki is made with just six ingredients in under 10 minutes. It uses only simple and real food ingredients without sacrificing the taste you know and love. Plus, it’s super easy and super versatile.
Whole30 & Dairy Free Tzatziki
I absolutely love tzatziki, but my body doesn’t always love dairy. If you’re like me, I’m so excited to bring you this dairy free tzatziki so you can enjoy what you love while feeling great!
If you do not have a problem with dairy or do not follow a paleo or Whole30 diet, feel free to use regular Greek yogurt! I love the grass fed varieties when I am eating dairy.
Pro tip: save the juice from the cucumber! I love to make green juices at home, but this is also great for cocktails and mocktails alike.

Whole30 & Dairy Free Tzatziki
Equipment
- Cheese Grater
Ingredients
- 1 cup compliant coconut yogurt (can use Greek yogurt if not Whole30/paleo/dairy free)
- 1 large cucumber, grated and strained of moisture
- 2 small cloves garlic, minced
- squeeze of fresh lemon (~¼-½ of a lemon)
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Grate and rid cucumber of any moisture. I use a cheese grater and grate the cucumber into a nut milk/mesh bag then wring out the moisture. You can also grate it onto a towel, sprinkle with salt (this brings the moisture to the top) and wring out that way. Use what you have!
- Combine all of the sauce ingredients and mix together. Serve cold!
