This Whipped Goat Cheese with Cranberry Compote is easy yet impressive as it only takes 15 minutes to make this beautiful and flavorful dish. It’s an appetizer anyone will love and makes for a stunning addition to any spread.
Whipped Goat Cheese with Cranberry Compote
What you’ll need:
- Goat Cheese
- Cream Cheese
- Rosemary
- Honey
- Lemon
- Cranberries
- Sugar
- Water

Whipped Goat Cheese with Cranberry Compote
Equipment
- Food Processor
Ingredients
Cranberry Compote
- 1 cup cranberries
- ½ lemon, zested (not juice)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (can sub monk fruit)
- ¼ cup water
Whipped Goat Cheese
- 8 oz goat cheese (sub dairy free alternative for dairy free)
- 8 oz cream cheese (sub dairy free alternative for dairy free)
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- pinch salt
Garnishes (Optional)
- pistachios, chopped
- lemon zest
Instructions
Cranberry Compote
- In a small pot over medium heat, add the cranberries and water.
- After a few minutes, stir in sugar and allow to come to a low boil, stirring often.
- Turn the heat down to low and let sit until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. The consistency should be thicker than jam as there will still be some whole pieces of cranberries.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
Whipped Goat Cheese
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Spread the whipped goat cheese into a bowl then top with the cranberry compote.
- Top with lemon zest and pistachios (optional) and serve with dipping vehicles of choice!
