Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip
This Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip is as easy as it is delicious. It is made from just chicken, hot sauce, avocado mayo and a handful of spices. You cook the chicken, toss the ingredients together and there you have it! Plus, this recipe is majorly loved by my cheese-loving husband which gives this recipe the ultimate stamp of approval.
Make it Your Own!
This recipe can easily be made vegan by swapping the chicken for chickpeas and the mayo for vegan mayo. Plus, if you want to add some cheese and aren’t worried about keeping this dish paleo/Whole30, go for it! I have topped this with melted grass fed cheese as well as dairy free cheese and have loved both.
Also, the pairing combinations don’t stop at celery and crackers. This recipe makes for a great filling inside wraps, on top of greens for a salad and even on top of pizza or stuffed in a baked potato!

Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast
- ¼ cup hot sauce or buffalo sauce (I use The New Primal or Cholula)
- ¼ cup + 1 tbsp avocado oil mayo
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cook chicken. I choose to boil mine in a pot on the stove with water covering the chicken and bring it to a boil, covered for 10 minutes.
- Shred the chicken then mix in the avocado mayo, hot sauce/buffalo sauce and spices.
- Serve with celery sticks, crackers or chips! Is also great in a salad, a wrap or inside a baked potato.
