This 15 minute Strawberry Lavender Chicken Salad is free from dairy and added sugar and makes the perfect protein packed filling for lettuce wraps and sandwiches alike. It requires less than 10 ingredients and is the most delicious meal prepped lunch or simple warm weather dinner.

Strawberry Lavender Chicken Salad

This easy recipe is one you’ll want to have on hand weekly. It takes almost no time to make with minimal effort and just a few real food ingredients.

Plus, you can easily adjust this recipe to fit your preferences or even tweak it to what you already have at home. Feel free to add in herbs or spices that you love, use your favorite nuts or leave them out completely, and serve this chicken salad with whatever you’d like!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups strawberries, diced
  • 1-2 lbs chicken, cooked and cubed
  • 6-8 small stalks celery, diced
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (I use half pecans and half walnuts)
  • ¾ cup avocado mayo (I use Primal Kitchen Foods or Chosen Foods avocado mayo)
  • 2 tbsp dried lavender
  • ¼-½ red onion, diced
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix gently until combined.
  2. Serve in lettuce wraps, with crackers, in a sandwich or potato chips!
