These Smash Burger Tostadas are a delicious, healthy and easy way to solve any meal dilemma. They’re packed with protein, can be customized to your dietary needs and preferences, are made using just real food ingredients and the best part is that they only take 15 minutes from start to clean up.
I truly make these at least once a day and even have them for breakfast on busy days when I want to start my day out on the right foot. Don’t knock it until you try it!
Smash Burger Tostadas
What you’ll need:

Smash Burger Tostadas:
- Almond Flour Tortillas (you can use any tortilla you like, but my favorite is this one)
- Ground Beef
- Onion Powder
- Garlic Powder
- Salt & Pepper
- Avocado Oil
Toppings (customize to your liking!):
- Cheese
- Special Sauce (click here for my recipe!)
- Coleslaw (click here for my recipe!)
- Onion
- Pickles
- Lettuce
- Bacon
- Avocado
- Tomato

Smash Burger Tostadas
Ingredients
Smash Burger Tostadas
- 8 tortillas
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp avocado oil or olive oil, for cooking (more or less, as needed)
Instructions
- Note: I love to meal prep these! I typically prepare the meat (as well as the other ingredients) and keep it in the fridge to make 2 at a time throughout the week.
- Combine the ground beef with the spices and gently mix it together with your fingers to ensure the meat doesn't get tough. Then, separate the meat into 8 equal balls.
- Add a drizzle of oil to a pan over medium heat.
- Smash one meatball onto one tortilla getting it as flat and covering as much of the surface area as you can.
- Place the tortilla meat side down and cook until the meat is fully cooked.
- Flip to the other side and allow for the tortilla to cook until crispy. If you are using cheese, add it at this time so it melts.
- Once the meat is cooked and the tortilla is crispy, remove from the pan and top with your favorite toppings.
