A NOTE ON CALORIE COUNT, NUTRITIONAL INFO AND SERVING SIZES
Due to my past experiences, I do not include most of the above information within my recipes as it is unsafe for me to do so personally. While I try to share a rough estimate when it comes to the serving size, please note that it is very subjective as we all have different hunger levels both from person to person and even from meal to meal.
If any of the above information is important to you, I understand! We are all different and have various goals and needs. If you’d like, you are welcome to calculate the information needed based on the ingredients you use when making one of my recipes.

Roasted Green Beans
Ingredients
- 8 cups green beans (can sub 4 cans and skip the boiling step)
- 12 slices cooked bacon, broken into pieces
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar (I don't recommend subbing the vinegar for something else!)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 white onion, sliced
- ½ cup slivered almonds
Instructions
- First, prepare the bacon, boil the green beans until soft (if using fresh instead of canned) and slice the onion.
- While the bacon cooks and the green beans boil, combine apple cider vinegar and sugar in a sauce pan on the stove and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often, until the sugar dissolves.
- Preheat your oven to 350℉.
- Layer half of the green beans in the bottom of a rectangular casserole dish, then sprinkle over half of the bacon pieces, then half of the onion slices.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients, then top with silvered almonds.
- Pour the apple cider vinegar and sugar mixture evenly overtop of the casserole.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
- Serve warm!
