June 30, 2020 by kaylaskitchandfix Leave a Comment

Whenever I have leftover Greek yogurt, I always make my these easy homemade bagels.

I struggle to find gluten free bagels with clean ingredients, so I finally decided to make my own! And let me tell you, they do not disappoint.

Homemade Gluten Free Bagels

Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 30 minutes mins
Total Time 40 minutes mins
Servings: 4
Course: Breakfast
Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • 1 cup gluten free flour + 2 tbsps, separated (I use Namaste Foods)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (I use Stonyfield grass fed Greek)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp everything but the bagel seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, Greek yogurt, apple cider vinegar and baking powder in a large bowl. Stir until completely combined. Dough will be a little crumbly, so use your hands to fold together.
  3. Separate dough into four even balls, then sprinkle extra 2 tablespoons of flour over top of them and your hands. This helps the dough form easier without sticking!
  4. Form your bagels and set them on the baking sheet. Whisk your egg white and evenly cover each bagel with it.
  5. Top the bagels with EBTB seasoning and salt, then pop into the oven for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Top with your favorite bagel pairings! I chose to make a breakfast sandwich with arugula, bacon and a fried egg. My fav!
