Chocolate Covered Strawberry Soiree

I threw a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Galentine’s Party to celebrate my friends with delicious treats, on theme drinks and vintage meets kitschy decor. Lots of the decor was handmade so it could be used again, the recipes could be made in advance and I thrifted as much as possible, so overall it was an affordable and realistic brunch that was so much fun!
Because so much of the brunch (from both the recipes to the decor) could be prepared in advance, I found this lineup to be very doable! Click here for the full menu, the links to everything I used as well as my timeline to keep things as organized and as stress free as possible.
Galentine’s Brunch

To celebrate my friends, I hosted a fun & festive Galentine’s Brunch complete with lots of delicious food (that is of course, real ingredient focused and dietary inclusive) and vibrant, girly decor. The room was filled with pinks and reds and lots of laughs. It was so fun!

More Theme Ideas:
- Steak Frites Dinner Party – this party was thrown for “Frenchgiving” but I think it would be perfect for a Valentine’s/Galentine’s dinner party as well!
- Cherry Cafe – while I don’t have a blog post for this one, click the link for a video of it coming to life and keep scrolling below to gather the recipes!

Strawberry Chip Rolls

Heart Hashbrowns

I used my Garlic & Rosemary Roasted Potatoes recipe, but cut the potatoes into flat, thin slices and used a cookie cutter to make them into heart shapes! If you make these, save the potato scraps to make these mashed potatoes the following day!
Whipped Ricotta & Strawberry Crostini

To make these, I tweaked my typical Whipped Ricotta recipe and used 8 oz ricotta (I use Kite Hill for dairy free), 2 tsp vanilla, 2 tsp honey and a sprinkle of salt. I piped the ricotta onto gluten free baguette slices and topped with diced strawberries and honey!
Chocolate Fondue Fountain with Fresh Strawberries

I followed the instructions for my specific fountain and used dairy free chocolate chips with coconut oil and it worked perfectly! Then each table setting had a teacup filled with fresh strawberries so everyone could serve themselves.
Hot Chocolate with Strawberry Whipped Cream

For the strawberry whipped cream, combine 1 cup heavy cream, 1/4 cup freeze dried strawberry powder and 1/4 cup sugar (or monk fruit for sugar free) and beat on high speed until fluffy!
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte

PS: Save the jam from the strawberry syrup for the lattes and give them out as small favors!
Individual Potato Crust Quiches

This is the potato crust quiche recipe I based these off of! It’s super customizable so feel free to use whatever fillings you prefer.
Cherry Chip Cookies

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cake

Cherry Vanilla Iced Latte

Shirley Temple

Cherry Chip Espresso Martini
