Knowing that I get to start my days with this frothy, dairy free and refined sugar free vanilla latte makes it so much easier to resist hitting snooze. It’s packed with health and beauty benefits from the collagen and boosts brain function with MCT oil if you add that in as well. With no added sugar, go ahead and have a second cup (or third). You deserve it. You also get the added bonus of feeling like a seasoned barista from the comfort of your own kitchen, which if we’re thinking about it saves lots of $5 bills in the process.
It’s also easy to make Whole30 compliant by subbing in unflavored collagen and adding 1/2-1 tsp of natural vanilla. You can also sub the collagen for your favorite protein if you’re a vegetarian!

Dairy & Sugar Free Vanilla Latte
Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly brewed coffee
- ¼ cup vanilla almond milk (I use MALK Organics)
- 1 rounded scoop vanilla collagen (I used Further Food, use unflavored for W30)
- 1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin spice (I use Simply Organic)
Optional Add Ins
- 1 tbsp MCT oil or coconut oil (I use Garden of Life)
- CBD tincture
Instructions
- Brew coffee and heat up your almond milk in a glass cup for 45 seconds in the microwave.
- Add collagen and pumpkin spice/cinnamon (and optional add ins) to the almond milk and froth with milk frother. I love the Milk Boss Milk Frother from Zulay Kitchen for an affordable option. Froth for 45 seconds and watch the milk mixture double in size.
- Pour the frothed almond milk mixture into the coffee and enjoy!

Ok so I’ve been watching Kayla make this on her Instagram and it always looked SO good – I could never get my almond milk to froth before!! I was using a different brand of almond milk that had more additives, and had always added the collagen to the coffee first – but after seeing her delicious froths I finally tried making it Kayla’s way and OMG. SO FROTHY!! I think it’s a combo of the high-quality almond milk and adding the collagen to the milk before frothing that makes the difference. So delicious!! Thank you Kayla for sharing this, now my coffee is yummier and more beautiful, which really makes a difference in my mornings!
