Dairy Free & Sugar Free Matcha Latte
I spent years not liking matcha, but wanting to because I knew how good it is for your body! Plus, the color isn’t half bad to look at, either. I am so excited to finally share my favorite ways to make it, both hot and cold, that I actually crave and look forward to! Both versions are made with simple, healthy ingredients and take basically no time or effort.
DIETARY NOTES
These matcha lattes are made with real ingredients and fit seamlessly into the following dietary needs when using the products/brands (or ones that are similar) listed in the recipe:
- gluten free
- soy free
- refined sugar free (using honey, maple syrup or stevia as well as compliant nut milk and protein/collagen powder)
- dairy free
- vegetarian complaint
- vegan compliant
- paleo compliant (using honey or maple syrup as well as compliant nut milk and protein/collagen powder)
- Whole30 compliant (using no sweetener and compliant nut milk and protein/collagen powder)

Dairy Free & Sugar Free Iced Matcha Latte
Equipment
- Matcha Whisk or Handheld Frother
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp hot water
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 tbsp/scoop vanilla collagen or protein powder (optional)
- 3 drops vanilla liquid stevia (can sub 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup)
- 1 cup nut milk of choice
Instructions
- Heat water in the microwave for 45 seconds.
- Add matcha to a bowl with the hot water and whisk until no clumps remain. If you'd like to use protein powder/collagen powder and/or a sweetener (stevia/honey/maple syrup), you can whisk it in at this time as well.
- Pour nut milk of choice into a glass with ice.
- Top with matcha and stir to combine. Enjoy!
Dairy Free & Sugar Free Hot Matcha Latte
Equipment
- Matcha Whisk or Handheld Frother
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp hot water
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 tbsp/scoop vanilla collagen or protein powder (optional)
- 3 drops vanilla liquid stevia (can sub 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup)
- 1 cup nut milk of choice
Instructions
- Heat water in the microwave for 45 seconds.
- Add matcha to a bowl with the hot water and whisk until no clumps remain.
- Pour nut milk of choice into a microwave safe mug and heat in the microwave for 45 seconds.
- Mix liquid stevia or honey/maple syrup and collagen powder/protein powder into your heated milk, if using. I use a handheld frother.
- Pour the matcha into the mug, stir to combine and enjoy!
