Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
This Chocolate Hazelnut Spread is so delicious that you may forget that it’s good for you. It’s made in just 20 minutes (with 10-15 minutes of it being bake time) and uses all healthy ingredients while even sneaking in some protein. It’s a great alternative to Nutella with a thicker texture and similar taste!

Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
Equipment
- Food Processor or High Powered Blender
Ingredients
- 1 cup hazelnuts, roasted and skinned
- 1 tbsp chocolate protein powder (I use Nutrilite Organics Chocolate Plant Protein Powder)
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup nut milk of choice
- 2 tbsp cold brew
- ¼ cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°. Once heated, roast hazelnuts on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes.
- Once roasted and cooled slightly, pour the hazelnuts onto a towel. Cover them with the towel and roll them, pressing lightly, to remove any loose skins. It’s okay if not all of the skin comes off, just do your best here.
- In a food processor or high powered blender, combine hazelnuts, milk and cold brew. Blend until as smooth as you can get it. You may need to scrape the edges a few times.
- Add in the protein powder, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and maple syrup and blend until evenly combined.
- Serve on anything you’d like from toast to crepes or even fresh fruit!
