Chimichurri Sauce

This Chimichurri Sauce is made with all real ingredients in just 5 minutes and makes for the absolute best finishing touch to just about anything! Serve it over potatoes, meat, salad, pasta… the options are endless and there is a way to serve it to meet the dietary needs and preferences of anyone. Plus, it’s completely Whole30 compliant and paleo as well!

Whether you’re cooking up a fancy steak dinner or want a fresh and herby sauce to dunk potato wedges in, this Chimichurri Sauce is your best bet. It’s light and flavorful all while being packed with nutrients from fresh herbs and healthy fats from olive oil. Plus, it only takes about 5 minutes of your time to whip up. Need I say more?

So, grab your handful of ingredients, throw them into a food processor (or even a high powder blender) to take whatever dish you’re having to the next level.

Seriously, it’s that easy.

  1. Grab your ingredients.
  2. Throw them into a food processor or high speed blender.
  3. Blend until desired consistency. That’s it!

Ingredients Method Notes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 small shallot, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ¼ tsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Measure all ingredients and place into blender or a food processor.
  2. Grate/blend ingredients until desired consistency. I wanted mine a little more thick as opposed to runny, but the choice is yours!
  3. Let cool in the fridge while cooking your dinner and serve when ready!

Notes

The sauce may harden slightly when refrigerated, but that’s totally normal! Just remove it from the fridge when you’re ready to eat it and stir until smooth.
