A NOTE ON CALORIE COUNT, NUTRITIONAL INFO AND SERVING SIZES

Due to my past experiences, I do not include most of the above information within my recipes as it is unsafe for me to do so personally. While I try to share a rough estimate when it comes to the serving size, please note that it is very subjective as we all have different hunger levels both from person to person and even from meal to meal.

If any of the above information is important to you, I understand! We are all different and have various goals and needs. If you’d like, you are welcome to calculate the information needed based on the ingredients you use when making one of my recipes.

I hope you understand! This comes from a place of love and protection both for myself and others like me. If you ever have any questions, send me an Instagram message for the quickest response time! Thank you for being here!

Total Time 35 minutes mins
Servings: 2 drinks
Course: Coffee, Drinks
Ingredients Equipment Method

Ingredients

Cherry Syrup
  • 2 cups cherries, pitted (I use frozen)
  • ½ cup sugar or monk fruit
  • ½ cup water
Chocolate Sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup coconut sugar (can sub brown sugar or granulated sugar, as needed)
  • ⅓ cup cocoa powder or cacoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
Cherry Mocha Frappé
  • 1 cup cold brew concentrate
  • ½ cup vanilla almond milk
  • ½ cup nutpods or half n half (I use the unsweetened cookie butter nutpods)
  • 2 tbsp chocolate sauce
  • ¼ cup cherry syrup

Equipment

  • Ninja SLUSHi

Method

Cherry Syrup
  1. Combine cherries, water and sugar or monk fruit in a pot on the stove over medium heat.
  2. Bring to a slight simmer and keep an eye on the mixture, mixing lightly and pressing down on the cherries as the sugar dissolves.
  3. Once the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture has thickened, your simple syrup is done! Strain the syrup into a resealable glass container leaving out the cherries and let cool before using it.
Chocolate Sauce
  1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan or pot on the stove over medium/low heat.
  2. While whisking constantly, bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Once everything is fully combined, the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly, remove it from the heat and allow to cool. Store in a container with a lid.
Cherry Mocha Frappé
  1. Be sure to read through the SLUSHi instructions and tips, there's a lot to know, but once you read through them, it's super simple!
  2. Combine all ingredients, ensuring they are all cool. You cannot add anything hot into the SLUSHi. You also cannot add ice, as a note. For best results, place in the fridge for a little bit.
  3. Pour the ingredients into the SLUSHi and turn on to the frappé setting.
  4. Wait for it to thicken and turn into a slushie. It should take around 15-20 minutes.
  5. Once ready, dispense into two glasses and enjoy!
