Like fall in a mug, this Sparkling Apple Cider Mule is a must for cozying up on the couch with during the colder months. It’s festive for autumn celebrations and can also take you all through the winter months with it’s comforting and refreshing flavor.
Sparkling Apple Cider Mule
This drink is an easy and seasonal twist on a classic Moscow Mule. While they’re typically made from vodka, ginger beer and lime, this version omits the lime and adds in cozy apple cider and some bubbles from prosecco, which is my favorite! It’s finished off with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick to add some additional fall flavor.
Sound complicated? It’s truly not! You basically pour all of the ingredients listed above into a mug (copper, if you have it!) over ice and gently stir then sip! It’s extremely delicious, comforting and refreshing. And most importantly, it’s EASY!
Gluten Free…
…and afraid of ginger beer? I was too. However, there are plenty that are completely gluten free! As always, just be sure to check your labels when shopping.
Make it your own!
I use prosecco in this recipe, but it would also be amazing with champagne or even sparkling water. Topo Chico is my favorite sparkling water to use in cocktails and even to drink on it’s own! You can also simply substitute the apple cider for apple juice, or even use homemade apple juice! Fan of the lime in your mule? Add it! The choice is yours!

We loved it. Added a larger percentage of cider for a thicker(?) feel

I’m so glad you loved them, Bert! Thanks for making and happy holidays 🙂

Could I do this with sparkling apple cider instead of apple cider & prosecco?
kaylaskitchandfix
I’m sure that would still be delicious! Or you could sub a zero proof prosecco!
