This 5 Minute Healthy Caramel Sauce is made with just simple ingredients and is so easy that it’s foolproof! All you need are 5 ingredients and 5 minutes of your time giving you a silky and delicious caramel drizzle perfect for desserts and coffees.
5 Minute Healthy Caramel Sauce
What you’ll need:
- Coconut Sugar
- Coconut Cream
- Maple Syrup
- Water
- Arrowroot or Tapioca Starch
- Salt (optional)

5 Minute Healthy Caramel Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup coconut sugar
- ½ cup coconut cream (only the solid part from a can of coconut cream or coconut milk, none of the coconut water)
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp arrowroot or tapioca starch
- pinch salt, optional
Instructions
- Mix together the tapioca or arrowroot and water until fully combined, then add all ingredients in a pot on the stove over medium heat.
- While stirring constantly, watch for the mixture to thicken. Don’t allow to come to a rolling boil!
- Once thickened slightly, remove the pot from the heat and allow to cool.
- Store in a jar with a lid and keep in the fridge!
