10 Minute Italian Chopped Salad
This salad is the perfect easy dish to whip up for a meal or a side and is super simple to customize to meet any dietary needs and taste preferences.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
As always, I want others with various dietary needs to be able to enjoy my recipes. That being said, make any modifications that you need! For any vegetarians or vegans, simply skip the chicken and salami. Those that don’t eat dairy, leave out the cheese. Those following a paleo or Whole30 diet, ensure you are using compliant salami or meat choices (Chomps or The New Primal meat sticks would work great!) and leave out the cheese and chickpeas.
Since this recipe is a salad, it is easily customizable. Feel free to pick and choose your favorite salad fixings and toppings and leave out anything you don’t love! If you are serving a group, you can also create a spread using separate bowls for all of the toppings and allow guests to to build their perfect salad!

Italian Chopped Salad
Ingredients
Italian Vinaigrette
Salad Fixings (customizable)
- salami
- chickpeas
- peperoncini
- red onion
- romaine
- cucumber
- celery
- black olives
- tomatoes
- grilled chicken
- shaved parmesan
Instructions
- Combine all vinaigrette ingredients and mix until combined.
- Chop all of your desired salad fixings depending on your tastes/preferences and dietary needs.
- Either pour the vinaigrette over the salad to enjoy with a group or serve a portion of salad into a bowl then drizzle the vinaigrette over the top for yourself.
