This Strawberry Smoothie Bowl is made with just four simple, healthful ingredients that you likely already have stocked in your freezer. It’s perfect for when you need to grab groceries but don’t have the time or are looking to clean out the fridge while still eating deliciously!
Strawberry Smoothie Bowl
Winter or summer, I love making smoothies and smoothie bowls. They are so easy to pack with nutrients while being completely customizable to meet my tastes and dietary needs. Plus, they take no time to whip up and it’s probable that I always have the ingredients I need to make one.
Make it Your Own
Something that is so great about smoothies and smoothie bowls alike is that you can easily customize them to fit your taste preferences and meet your dietary needs. Personally, I love to add in collagen for some protein, but if you’re a vegetarian, for example, you can easily throw in a scoop of a powder that meets your needs. You have the ability to choose your favorite frozen fruit (or a mixture of a few) and you can also choose what milk you like best or even sub it out with water if that’s all you have on hand!
Topping Talk
What’s the best part of a smoothie bowl? The toppings, obviously. This is the fun part where you can add anything you enjoy for extra flavor, a nice crunch and also additional health benefits. Plus, they make it so pretty, right?! Here are the toppings I love to use for my Strawberry Smoothie Bowl:
- fresh berries (I chose raspberries and blackberries here)
- pumpkin seeds
- LesserEvil Strawberry Beet Lil’ Puffs (they have the cutest shape and add crunch and flavor!)
- raw cacao nibs
- shredded unsweetened coconut
