I think all salads should be topped with steak and french fries, don’t you? Now they can be whenever you want with this nutrient packed Whole30 Steak Salad with Chimichurri Sauce!
Steak Salad with Chimichurri
This steak salad is a perfect example of a balanced plate. It’s complete with a variety of fresh veggies, filling protein, a little bit of carbs and rounds itself out with healthy fats. Plus, do you see all of the different colors in this Steak Salad?! The more colors there are, the more nutrient dense your meal is likely to be. This is because each color carries different benefits!
It’s all about balance.
Gone are the days that the white potato (and carbs in general) are feared and I am SO glad to say goodbye to them! We now live in a world that promotes the heavenly fact that potatoes, and other healthy carbs, have plenty of beneficial nutrients when eaten as a part of a balanced diet.
In order to be sure that you’re making a smart choice, check to see if they are cooked in anti inflammatory oils like avocado oil or EVOO. You can also choose to opt for homemade and make them yourself. Grab the recipe for my favorite Oven French Fries here and see how easy yet delicious they are!

What produce should I buy organic?
When shopping for produce, it may be confusing to decide which items should be bought organic and which items do not need to be. As a rule of thumb, I always follow the Environmental Working Group’s “Dirty Dozen” and “Clean 15.” These rules help to ensure that what I’m eating is the safest option without breaking the bank. For more information on why buying organic can be important, as well as other important health topics, check out their official website here!
