December 27, 2020 by kaylaskitchandfix 2 Comments

Say goodbye to 2020 and hello to the best drink to cheers the New Year with this light and easy to make Refreshing Champagne Twist Cocktail.

Refreshing Champagne Twist Cocktail

Refreshing Champagne Twist Cocktail

Champagne (or Prosecco or Cava, I love bubbles in any way they come!) are a must for me for any celebration, but especially for New Years Eve. While our plans may look a little different than those of the past, we still have so much to celebrate and deserve to cheers to all that’s behind us as well as all that’s ahead. Don’t you agree?

This easy and delicious cocktail has the bubbles you love while adding a light, almost peachy flavor. Think the taste of a flavored mimosa but much lighter. It’s so delicious that even my sister that doesn’t love champagne enjoyed this drink! While I created this for New Years Eve, it would also be the perfect summer event drink to whip up.

Refreshing Champagne Twist Cocktail

Just Five Ingredients

And that’s including the ice! All you’ll need for this simple and easy yet delicious cocktail is:

  • Champagne (or Prosecco or Cava)
  • Elderflower Liqueur (I use St. Germain)
  • Lemon
  • Rosemary (optional)
  • Ice

The bubbles from the champagne pair perfectly with the elderflower liqueur. I grabbed mine at Target, by the way! Click here for the St. Germain I used to find some near you as well as these practical additions to your bar area that are as useful as they are beautiful.

I love that now I have another champagne drink to add to my mix. This drink is so tasty and a great substitute to the normal mimosa. It was perfect for a midnight cheers on NYE!

Hi Emily! My goal was to make an alternative to the normal mimosa, so I’m happy to hear you say that! Cheers 🙂
