This Paleo Berry Crumble is so easy to make and is made from just real food ingredients but might just be your new favorite. It is so cozy when enjoyed straight from the oven and is perfectly paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that melts alongside it.

A NOTE ON CALORIE COUNT, NUTRITIONAL INFO AND SERVING SIZES

Due to my past experiences, I do not include most of the above information within my recipes as it is unsafe for me to do so personally. While I try to share a rough estimate when it comes to the serving size, please note that it is very subjective as we all have different hunger levels both from person to person and even from meal to meal.

If any of the above information is important to you, I understand! We are all different and have various goals and needs. If you’d like, you are welcome to calculate the information needed based on the ingredients you use when making one of my recipes.

I hope you understand! This comes from a place of love and protection both for myself and others like me. If you ever have any questions, send me an Instagram message for the quickest response time! Thank you for being here!

Ingredients Method

Ingredients

Berry Filling
  • 3 cups mixed berries (can be frozen, but fresh works best!)
  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tbsp tapioca starch or arrowroot (add 1 additional tbsp if using frozen berries)
  • ¼ tsp salt
Crumble Topping
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cassava flour
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp butter or ghee, melted (can use dairy free as needed)
  • ¼ tsp salt

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375℉.
  2. Add the berries (if using frozen, make sure they are straight out of the freezer, not thawed) to a bowl then toss with the other filling ingredients until the berries are all evenly covered. Then, add the berry mixture to a small baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the crumble topping ingredients and mix until clumps form.
  4. Crumble the topping on top of the berry mixture.
  5. Bake the crumble for 30-40 minutes (depending on your oven, be sure to check on it!). It will be ready when the berry juices are bubbling slightly and the top is golden brown.
  6. Serve with ice cream if you'd like. It's best served right out of the oven!
