There is nothing more ideal than a snack board, so what better appetizer to bring or prep for the holidays than a festive and delicious Holiday Charcuterie Tree? Whether you’re whipping one up for a date night in or a holiday gathering, there is bound to be something on there to love for everyone! Get creative this year with a CharcuteTree, if you will.
Holiday Charcuterie Tree
Looking to wow those you’re lucky enough to spend the holidays with? Or maybe you’re looking for a contribution to a seasonal spread that can meet multiple dietary needs? This Holiday Charcuterie Tree is the perfect opportunity to get a little creative, change things up and most importantly, enjoy your favorite snacks!
While it presents itself as impressive, it’s actually not as hard as it looks! Here are two ways to assemble your CharcuteTree:
- Start by outlining the tree with sprigs of rosemary, then place the charcuterie makings inside the outline. Finally, fill in empty spots with more rosemary.
- Build from the inside out! Choose items with pointed edges (like cheese triangles or apple slices) to act as the points of the tree and fill in the spaces around it. Finish off by strategically placing rosemary along the edges or the tree to define the shape and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds to act as ornaments.
There’s really no wrong way to do it! For more tips on charcuterie styling, check out my blog post here, and grab my charcuterie grocery list here!
Make it Your Own
Something I love about charcuterie and snack boards (aside from them being delicious) is that they are fully customizable and can meet the needs of anyone’s dietary needs. Vegan? Skip the meat and opt for plant-based cheeses. Gluten free? Choose certified gluten free products or use fruit/veggies as dipping vehicles! The options are endless and totally customizable.
Option 1 – what I used:
- rosemary
- sliced salami
- green olives
- red grapes
- pomegranate seeds
- marcona almonds
- triangular and cubed cheeses
- pretzel sticks (I love the Quinn brand!)
Option 2 – what I used:

- honey
- cheese triangles (white cheddar)
