Gluten Free & Vegan Toast Combinations
These yummy, easy and healthy toast combinations are a great way to sneak in some extra nutrients into your day as well as are great alternatives to typical toast toppings that may not leave you feeling as ready to take on the day.
Peanut Butter Blueberry Toast
- Unsweetened peanut butter
- Blueberries
- Cinnamon
- Honey (omit if vegan)
Added Sugar Free Raspberry Toast
- Homemade small batch raspberry jam (recipe below)
- Roasted peanuts
- Chia seeds
Added Sugar Free Raspberry Jam Recipe:
- 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup monk fruit sugar (Lakanto for sugar free) or granulated sugar
- Combine ingredients in a sauce pan on the stove and bring to a boil.
- Smash the raspberries and simmer until sugar is absorbed.
- Strain the syrup into an airtight jar to save for coffee and/or cocktails (recipe linked here!) and remove the jam from the strainer for your toast.
Hummus Cucumber Toast
- Hummus (click here for my recipe!)
- Cucumber
- Pepper
- Fresh dill
Dairy Free Ricotta Tomato Basil Toast
Chocolate Strawberry Toast
- Homemade chocolate spread (recipe below)
- Strawberries
- Cacao nibs
Chocolate spread recipe:
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3-4 tbsp coconut milk
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Add more or less nut milk depending on desired consistency.
Pesto Avocado Toast

- Avocado
- Radish
- Microgreens
- Pepper
