This Cherry Chip Espresso Martini is a fun and delicious twist on the classic. I swear I have nailed the perfect espresso martini recipe that isn’t too sweet, is just the right amount of creamy and still have that espresso flavor. With the added cherry flavor and chocolate shavings on top it’s truly a delicious combination!
Cherry Chip Espresso Martini
What you’ll need:
- Chilled Espresso or Cold Brew
- Nutpods Coffee Creamer (I like this one or this one for a little bit sweeter)
- Vodka (or alternative for a mocktail version)
- Ice
- Chocolate
- Cherries
- Water
- Sugar or Monk Fruit
I have tried this recipe with Kahlua instead of the Nutpods and it just does not get the frothy top. If you have a different coffee liqueur you like and know works well, you can try that in this recipe!
Espresso Martini Tower, anyone?
This recipe is great for serving a group as you can multiply the recipe by however many you’re serving and make it easily in a blender! I am telling you the foamy top lasts for so much longer than any espresso martini I’ve ever had, so you can pour these right before your guests arrive without worrying about them going flat!
You can absolutely make this recipe for 1-2 in a traditional cocktail shaker as well. As always, be sure to shake for a full 30 seconds-1 minute to ensure it gets that foam!
A NOTE ON CALORIE COUNT, NUTRITIONAL INFO AND SERVING SIZES
Due to my past experiences, I do not include most of the above information within my recipes as it is unsafe for me to do so personally. While I try to share a rough estimate when it comes to the serving size, please note that it is very subjective as we all have different hunger levels both from person to person and even from meal to meal.
If any of the above information is important to you, I understand! We are all different and have various goals and needs. If you’d like, you are welcome to calculate the information needed based on the ingredients you use when making one of my recipes.
I hope you understand! This comes from a place of love and protection both for myself and others like me. If you ever have any questions, send me an Instagram message for the quickest response time! Thank you for being here!

Cherry Chip Espresso Martini
Ingredients
Cherry Simple Syrup
- 1 cup cherries, pitted (I use frozen)
- ½ cup sugar or monk fruit
- ½ cup water
Cherry Chip Espresso Martini
- 1 ½ oz cooled espresso or cold brew
- 1 oz Nutpods coffee creamer
- 1 oz vodka (or alternative for nonalcoholic)
- ½-1 oz cherry simple syrup (more or less depending on sweetness preference)
- chocolate, to shave on top
Instructions
Cherry Simple Syrup
- Combine cherries, water and sugar in a pot on the stove over medium heat.
- Bring to a slight simmer and keep an eye on the mixture, mixing lightly and pressing down on the cherries as the sugar dissolves.
- Once the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture has thickened, your simple syrup is done!
- Strain the syrup into a resealable glass container leaving out the cherries and let cool before using it for your drinks. PS – you can use the cherry spread that is left over on just about anything. It's delicious!
Cherry Chip Espresso Martini
- Combine all ingredients (aside from the chocolate) in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds.
- Strain into a martini or coupe glass and top with chocolate shavings and cherries on a cocktail pick. Cheers!
