This Breakfast BLT is packed with delicious flavors from fresh herbs, salty bacon and juicy tomatoes while sitting on top of a toasted bagel, making it a perfectly balanced and super delicious way to start your day. Of course, it also makes for a delicious lunch, dinner, snack, whatever you prefer! If it were up to me, I would eat it for every single meal of the day.
Breakfast BLT
What you’ll need:
- Toasted Bread or Bagel (I use these higher protein gluten free bagels)
- Garden Ranch Aioli or Basil Pistachio Aioli (recipes below!)
- Heirloom Tomatoes
- Bacon
- Lettuce and/or Microgreens
- Salt and Pepper
Don’t skip the sauce!
To me, a sauce or aioli can completely take a meal to the next level. I love to pack my homemade ones with lots of herbs to bring flavor and nutrients to what I’m eating. Here are some recipes you might want to use for this BLT!
Garden Ranch Aioli:
- ½ cup compliant avocado oil mayo (I use my homemade recipe! I have options for vegan & paleo)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp chives
- 1 tbsp cilantro
- 1 tsp dill
- ¼ tsp salt
- pepper, to taste
Basil Pistachio Aioli:
- 1/2 cup avocado oil mayo (see below for my recipes!)
- 1/2 cup basil
- 1/2 cup pistachios
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- pinch of salt
