A NOTE ON CALORIE COUNT, NUTRITIONAL INFO AND SERVING SIZES

Due to my past experiences, I do not include most of the above information within my recipes as it is unsafe for me to do so personally. While I try to share a rough estimate when it comes to the serving size, please note that it is very subjective as we all have different hunger levels both from person to person and even from meal to meal.

If any of the above information is important to you, I understand! We are all different and have various goals and needs. If you’d like, you are welcome to calculate the information needed based on the ingredients you use when making one of my recipes.

I hope you understand! This comes from a place of love and protection both for myself and others like me. If you ever have any questions, send me an Instagram message for the quickest response time! Thank you for being here!

I have to say, I was extremely excited for this easy recipe but while the flavor was good the texture came out awful. The fats in the coconut cream congealed and curdled on top the cold coffee leading to a very unpleasant texture. Sorry. 😢

Unfortunately that has to do with the coconut cream, not the recipe! There are some chunky batches out there which can cause this. Neither of our faults but sorry to hear you got a bad batch! It should be super creamy, not as you described.

Is there a coconut cream brand that you recommend?

I have good luck with the 365 Brand from Whole Foods!

Regarding the Coconut Cream separating –
I’ve used several brands of Coconut Cream, including Whole Foods 365 and Sprouts, and they all separate. You must shake the can of Coconut Cream vigorously and for at least 30 seconds before you open it (be sure to get the unsweetened). Also, make the mixture first and before you pour it over ice, blend it real well with a whisk or mini immersion blender like this one. https://www.amazon.com/Bonsenkitchen-Powerful-Handheld-Stainless-Wand-Black/dp/B076F3C4XP/ref=asc_df_B076F3C4XP/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693383278741&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9283431950404400077&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9031594&hvtargid=pla-411447529862&psc=1&mcid=68255ca9be9f363fbe36f93608b026c7&gad_source=1.
One last recommendation is to only use ½ tsp. vanilla.

Good tips! I have never had to shake the coconut cream first but I will say yes of course, definitely make everything before pouring it over the ice!
